Half a year!

Sweet Lucy has TWO teeth now!
She's been to an NHL game in Nashville, swimming in the hotel pool,  a wedding, a Bats & U of L baseball game and taken her first trip to the zoo!!
She's weighing in at 19 lb., 13 oz and she's 27 and a half inches long.
She also has this adorable new trick where she tilts her head and says, "Awwww." You can't help but to say it with her- she's just too cute!
She's not crawling yet but she can get her little booty up and on all fours. After that, she usually splats and laughs. She acts like she wants down all the time and she rolls like a log across the room to get what she wants. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Waller- Lucy's middle name!

waller
(verb) : to jump around on something; to not sit still; to romp around, Example: Lucy will waller all day and still have the energy to waller all evening too.
 Five month update!

Yea... the blanket was there for her to play ON. That didn't last long! I thought maybe I could explain it by saying she ran out of room in the womb so now she takes every chance to stretch, jump, kick...well- waller. Man oh man, is she active.

She can roll circles around the living room to get to the toy she wants. She can scoot backwards but has not figured out how to push herself into a crawl to go forward. She is in constant movement, intentional movement too. She's the strongest little thing!!
She loves her bouncer and her play mat. She grabs, shakes and growls  at her toys. She is hilarious. She's also got this whisper voice that she uses to get people's (and pups!) attention. She seems to always have something to say... I am in NO hurry for words quite yet because I have a feeling she will never stop talking once she starts. ; )
She's eaten some pears along with her bananas and apples and seems to enjoy them after the initial flinching- that is so funny!!
She's sleeping well, mostly thanks to the super swaddle that resembles a straight jacket... Spring Break plans include transitioning out of the swaddle but I'm just not ready to give that good sleep up yet! She's going to have to transition out of her sink bathtub too....but we'll keep squishing her in until she doesn't fit.

Sooo tired...from all the wallering.
She made her trip to Nashville and was lovely! She smiled big for everyone that gave her an ounce of attention and stole the hearts of people on the street as she tried ice cream for the first time. <3
Living every moment to the fullest!

Little Lucy is four months old! Photo update

This girl. She's got a little personality now and we are more in love everyday. Turns out, four months is tons of fun. Although we cannot trust her anymore when we lie her down, its fun to watch her roll back and forth and holler when she's on the move.
She fussed about being restrained in her car seat but enjoys strolling and riding. She's not a morning person so mornings are usually spent napping. She's not so cooperative when it comes to naps in the afternoon but she's coming around.
She's a fan of the pups although if she doesn't have food, they act like she doesn't exist. She usually sleeps like a dream at night but won't let me take it for granted as she keeps me up all night once about every three weeks. She's tricky like that. She smiles big for strangers and blows raspberries for Daddy.

I think she knows she's cute and she doesn't hide it!

She's so big doc has given us the go ahead on eating solids. We've tried bananas- big hit! She's also tried apples, not such a big fan right now. :)  She continues to looove bath time!

Solids lead to fun diaper changes! Haha!!

BANANAS!!! It seems Otis has been waiting all of Lucy's life for moments like these. :)

It's so fun to look back and watch her grow!
